Yup, sapphoq has a brain injury. I was in a rather nasty car accident and this is what caused mine. The driver behind me slammed my car into a house. My car left a hole in the concrete foundation. You could see through it to inside the cellar. I thought I was going to be dead but then I wasn't.
The driver continued downstreet where he hit another car occupied by a woman and her little boy head-on. They all got the broken bones.
Broken bones heal up. Broken brains can heal up too but not in quite the way they'd been before. I am not who I was before the car accident several years ago. I am alive and that is the greatest gift.
